WISDOM FOR WINNING: Opportunity
Proverbs 10:5: He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
Opportunity is a
blessing from God, it is not however guaranteed. Wise people exploit
them for great gain and honor. The foolish person squanders them to
poverty and disgrace. The wise person will seize a door of opportunity,
while the foolish person will miss the door, believes it will always be
there.
Life is always changing. You will see seasons of prosperity and difficulty. When time is good diligently accumulate all you can for the leaner time ahead so you will have extra to fall back on .This proverbs teaches you how to handle both events.
As far as success in business be diligent in seeking opportunities to accumulate assets for your future. A lazy person neglects this and will bring poverty to themselves.
As
far as success in finances be diligent in seeking opportunities to
accumulate savings for your future. The old saying is "save for a rainy
day". It will be less painful in the future if something unexpected
comes along and you need extra money.

in vacation finance (or fun money) seek opportunities to accumulate
savings for vacation time. Have a fund set aside just for this. That
way when vacation time comes around the money will be available.
As far as success in investments be diligent in seeking
opportunities to learn about what to invest in. Read investment guides,
magazines, even consumer and financial savvy radio and TV personalities
are good places to go to learn investment strategies.

books and commentaries. Read biographies of wise people who lived and
are living now. Saturate yourself in God's word, the greatest wisdom
book of all (find one you can understand, that explains what is being
said) Ask God to reveal his word to you so that you may grow wise.
America is the land of opportunity, more so than any other nation on the planet. You must see the opportunity and capitalize on it. Have you capitalized on what God has given you, TIME! Time is God's currency to us! Use it wisely and fervently with passion and zeal!
